this post really has a universal appeal coz it defines almost all of us but it is actually inspired by someone i see almost every day. yesterday night i was just thinking how one person is never entirely bad or entirely good. they always have some grey shades, no one is totally black or totally white. for instance even Hitler the face of evil, i dare say it, had a side which appreciated art and culture, the so called finer things in life. for one we humans are two natured creatures, we have our noble nature and we have our not so noble nature. and knowingly or unknowingly we keep on flipping through these sides as we go through the day. our noble nature makes us patient, kind, honest, courageous, unselfish, thoughtful and temperate while the not so nature makes us , resentful, selfish, lustful, greedy, cowardly, envious and vengeful, and that too curiously almost at the same time. we feel sad for a kid on the road while we also feel angry at almost nothing the very next moment.both of natures within us are being appealed to, day in and day out and we have only limited control over it.
then the question comes, if we all are saddled with both natures to different degrees with different variations, why are we often tempted towards the dark side of the force. why ordinary humans like me dont have greater control of either of the sides. and why only the ones who have this greater control, for eg. hitler of not so noble and gandhi for noble, are the ones who eventually become great either in a good a or bad way totally dpending on which side you have this control on. it might be confusing but not totally false and clearly states that if you are a little more aware of wat is within, you can become a better or worse person anyday.
